Brenton Jay Raffensperger was an American and the son of Bradford Jay Raffensperger and his wife Tricia Raffensperger.
His father Brad Raffensperger is an American politician, businessman, and civil engineer, serving as the Secretary of State of Georgia since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 50.
Brenton Jay Raffensperger died of a Fentanyl overdose in 2018. He was in his thirties (30’s).
His father Brad speaking about his death, unraveled that Brenton struggled with — among other things — addiction and a cancer diagnosis.

Raffensperger who passed away two years ago,’ Raffensperger said during a press conference in 2020. ‘He is not on our voter files here in Georgia. We checked’, he added.
